Patrimonio Accesible: I+D+i para una cultura sin barreras | Barcelona | 2009-2010

The purpose of this project, Sistema integrat de suport a la presa de decisions per millorar l’accessibilitat al patrimoni, is to design a system to aid the decision making. This has to provide a tool to decide the optimal solution for universal accessibility criteria, regarding to heritage and economic viability, according to the premises and solutions developed in previous projects.

Also the design of a tool that encompass and make visible solutions of improvement and knowledge about heritage accessibility, developed in PATRAC, aimed at the responsible agents of heritage intervention decisions which allow the identification of appropriated solutions.

Finally, to develop a software tool which is able to optimize a route or an itinerary between two points of heritage interest in the old town of an urban settlement, having in mind user’s particularities about its physical disabilities.
