Patrimonio Accesible: I+D+i para una cultura sin barreras | Barcelona | 2009-2010

The purpose of this Project, Entorns intel·ligents i sistemes de control en patrimoni, is the design of an environmental intelligence system to create accessible environments for everyone to the historical and artistic Heritage. These conditions allow users to enjoy their visit to these unique buildings in a safety and adapted way to the characteristics of each person. The system allows the adaptation of building interior spaces to the accessibility requirements, to enjoy the historical heritage by all society. This aspect is fundamental, because it is useless to remove barriers which prevent the access to the building to all people, if later inside these buildings (very large, complex and originally not designed for its actual use) is not adequate for its visit.
